Wedding in Skye Frankston in May 2006
May 2006 “Love is the magic ingredient that is the very essence of life. It is sought after by everyone, everywhere on the face of this earth. The need to love and be loved in return, lies deep within our souls, silently awaiting a seductive summons, an invitation to life’s dance.”
These are the opening words in a book called “Signs of Love,” by Jeraldine Saunders, which is described as your personal guide to romantic and sexual compatibility.
For those who are not familiar with the name Jeraldine Saunders, you may recall her best selling book called “The Love Boat” which was later turned into a very successful television series in the 70’s and more recently, a movie of the same name.
I was very fortunate to get to know Jeraldine on my many trips to lecture in the States during the 90’s. She is a beautiful lady and I treasure our friendship. I often use a phrase or two in my ceremonies from her book, which can best be described as a relationship/self-help book with unlimited love power.
In May I had the privilege of doing a wedding for a special friend and college who has helped us out many times when we needed things done around our house. Words from Jeraldine’s book began our ceremony.
Geoff and Yvonne’s daughter Briony, married Sean at the Sandhurst Club, complex in Skye, an outer Melbourne suburb of Victoria. This is a very trendy and upmarket venue.
Inclement weather forced the ceremony to be held indoors. However, the foyer of the hotel is just magnificent, with high cathedral ceilings. I felt that our bride Briony, was worthy of our photo gallery
