June 2006 Spotted at the Aria restaurant, Number 1 Maquarie Street Circular Quay, Sydney in June this year, on her recent trip to Australia to promote her latest movie, “The Break-up,” with Vince Vaughn, was celebrity superstar Jennifer Aniston. This Sydney restaurant is well known amongst celebrities and super stars as the “in” place to go.

Gavan Grosser and Glorija Lawrence can certainly testify to its superb winning and dining facilities and extraordinary views of Sydney including the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge but instead of celebrating a break-up, they were celebrating a very special union.

These are the opening words in a book called “Signs of Love,” by Jeraldine Saunders, which is described as your personal guide to romantic and sexual compatibility.

For those who are not familiar with the name Jeraldine Saunders, you may recall her best selling book called “The Love Boat” which was later turned into a very successful television series in the 70’s and more recently, a movie of the same name.

April 2006 Point Cook is a quiet sanctuary for nature, only 15 kilometres from the centre of Melbourne which has a beautifully restored homestead with a café for refreshments.

On a delightful April morning, this venue was the setting for a 10th Wedding Anniversary ceremony conducted by Glorija for Peter and Tracey. This was a very special family event for Glorija, as it was the third time she has conducted a ceremony for them.

Here are just a few words from their ceremony:

Once again Gavan Grosser and Glorija Lawrence were kept busy with ceremonies in all parts of Victoria and they wish to thank all those special people with whom they have worked during 2005/2006.

As celebrants, they know that there is much in life that is hallowed and treasured and they know just how much their lives have been enriched, by working within the field of celebrations.

February 2006
February is the month when laughter and love fills the air. It is of course the time when we celebrate Saint Valentine’s Day so named in honour of two Roman Martyrs who died on this day.

The “World Book Encyclopedia” tell us that the custom of exchanging valentine’s on February 14th can be traced to the English poet, Geoffrey Chaucer who mentioned that birds began to pair off on that day.
